A $3 million dollar bond has been approved to pay for improvements to two Anderson city parks. According to the Herald Bulletin, the Broderick administration is planning to spend an estimated $1.2 million of the bond proceeds for improvements to Mays Park with the remainder going toward a projected $14 million project at Athletic Park.
