The Daleville mom charged in her two-year-old son’s heat-related death has received a January 14 trial date. 28-year-old Britni N. Wihebrink is charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death and obstruction of justice. Her child was found unresponsive Sept. 5 in Wihebrink’s car, parked outside their home. He was pronounced dead in an ambulance enroute to the hospital. Wihebrink is facing up to 40 years in prison.
