Indiana Teacher Salaries Down Since 2000

If you’re a teacher, you’re making less now on average than you did at the turn of the century. In the year 2000, Indiana teachers made around 60,000 dollars a year on average, according to CBS News. Now a day’s a teacher’s average is around 50K a year, slightly lower than the national average. The other states with the largest decreases in teacher pay are Colorado, North Carolina, Michigan and Arizona.
