I.U. Director Warns Against NAFTA Pull-Out

Indiana has a lot at stake in a trade war with China — but even more in the renegotiation of NAFTA. China is Indiana’s third-biggest trading partner. Canada and Mexico are first and second. I-U Public Policy Institute director Tom Guevara says a complete pullout from NAFTA would wipe out 35-thousand Hoosier jobs and three-and-a-half-billion dollars in exports, with the auto industry especially hard hit.
