Anderson’s State Theater Still Not Open

The State Theatre in downtown Anderson is still not open for business.  The building, which has been undergoing renovations since last year, still does not have a heating or cooling system.  Despite announcements to open in 2017 and then in the spring of 2018, there is still no set date for an opening.
