A Muncie mother told police she was battered by her son and his wife when she interrupted their drug-related activities. The 41-year-old woman reported she had walked in on the couple – 24-year-old John Swafford Jr. and 34-year-old Amber Swafford– when they were “preparing to use intravenous drugs” in her home.
