The Indiana State Department of Health is warning Hoosiers about the dangers of synthetic cannabinoids after receiving reports about individuals in Illinois and Indiana who experienced severe bleeding after using the substances. The health department says synthetic cannabinoids are often marketed as safe and legal alternatives to marijuana, but in reality, the health effects from it can be unpredictable and harmful.
