The Anderson Housing Authority is closing the fiscal year at the end of March with a positive balance in the public housing account. According to the Herald Bulletin, the AHA board of directors learned that the public housing account is finishing the fiscal year with a balance of $925. The Section 8 and Home Assistance Program are carrying over a balance of more than 422-thousand dollars into the new fiscal year.
