A Muncie man is charged with battery, neglect of a dependent and obstruction of justice over allegations he violently shook his infant son and then lied to police about it. 26-year-old Michael D. Crook Jr. was arrested and charged after the 4-month-old had difficulty breathing. The baby was taken to Riley in Indianapolis. The hospital says the injuries are consistent with child abuse.
