The city of Anderson has reached a more than 400-thousand dollar settlement with an Indianapolis excavation company. The city and Poindexter Excavating came to an impasse during mediation for additional work the company did while extending the water lines for the Hy-Pro Filtration plant. The money will be paid from the city’s Tax Increment Financing revenues.
