B.A.C. Three Times The Legal Limit

The man accused in a fiery crash last week had a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit at the time of the incident. Cody Wayne Vaughn crashed into a utility pole, severed a natural gas pipeline and rammed a house in Alexandria one week ago. He is charged with 16 felonies. An automatic plea of not guilty was entered in his behalf Wednesday. Vaughn is asking for a speedy trial.
