Three Deadly OD’s In As Many Days In Muncie

13 overdoses, three deaths, three days; that’s what Muncie Police say has happened of late as the city continues its fight against deadly drugs. Those incidents happened between Friday and Sunday. Police think a bad batch of heroin is the culprit. The county coroner tells the Star Press, the number of overdose deaths could rise to four, at least, depending on the results of toxicology tests which will take four to six weeks to complete.
