A Tennessee man is arrested for stealing a car from a Muncie home, Monday night. Shawn Nash, 19, of Lewis County, Tennessee, was arrested for auto theft and leaving the scene of an accident. Investigators say Nash took a car that had been left with its engine running outside a home East 13th Street. He fled on foot after he was involved in a crash near 29th and Madison. Deputies caught up to Nash near 32nd and Beacon streets. Authorities report he was carrying a bag of jewelry the car’s owner said was missing from her vehicle.
