Tire Company Will Bring Jobs To Anderson

The former General Motors Plant 20 location has been purchased by a company from China and it will mean some jobs for Anderson. The location at 38th Street was bought by Sutong China Tire Resources. The company’s US headquarters is in Houston. The company asked for no tax incentives, say officials. According to the Herald Bulletin,
Sutong plans to use the new Indiana location to service the utility and RV trailer industry, large retail chain stores and independent tire retailers and wholesalers, and expects to create 20 to 40 jobs in the process.
