A request to increase the bond for a 17-year-old charged with three felony counts as an inmate at the Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility has been denied. The judge denied the request of the Madison County Prosecutor’s Office to increase the bond for Zachary Childress to either no bond or a full cash bond of $250,000. According to the Herald Bulletin, the judge ruled that the state presented no additional evidence to support its motion.
