Madison County prosecutors Thursday filed 15 criminal charges against an Indianapolis man who was shot by police after he and an accomplice allegedly robbed an Elwood pharmacy. 27-year-old Justin T. Veal is recovering from a gunshot wound at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. The Herald Bulletin reports that Veal and a male companion burst into Low-Cost Prescriptions on January 25th and demanded oxycodone.
