He says his brakes failed. That’s the reason 37-year-old Joe Riley gave when his car hit a train in Anderson Tuesday. Riley was apparently test-driving the car when the accident occurred on Brown Delaware Street. His wife, the lone passenger was injured and treated at the hospital. Riley refused treatment at the scene. The collision is still under investigation.
