The Ball State University Board of Trustees has announced that Geoffrey S. Mearns will begin serving as president on Monday, May 15. Board Chair Rick Hall says Mearns will help guide a new strategic plan and build on successes in enrollment. Mearns will have a Presidential Transition Committee to assist with his transition.
