Muncie Man’s Car Ends Up On Roof In Creek

His license had been suspended for life but it didn’t stop a Muncie man from driving drunk, say police. Delaware County deputies say 65 year old Gary Mace’s car ended up on its roof in a creek after an accident. Mace, of the 2500 block of South Sycamore Street, was headed westbound on Delaware County Road 850-N near County Road 675-W when his car left the roadway, went through a field and ended up in the creek. Mace is charged with driving while intoxicated and driving as a habitual traffic offender.
