The murder trial of Mark Emerson will be continued into the New Year while the issue of extracting information from cellphones remains unresolved. The 25-year-old Anderson man was arrested on June 22, 2015, in Minnesota and extradited to Madison County in connection with the stabbing death of Cody J. Gray and the alleged kidnapping of his estranged wife and children. The Herald Bulletin reports that his trial date has been set for April 25.
