The trial of a Muncie man charged with murder in Marion County has now been rescheduled seven times since January. The Star Press reports that Martize Kirkland is alleged to have fatally shot Jeremy Johnson after luring him to an abandoned house on Indianapolis’ east side. Kirkland’s trial, which had most recently been set for Nov. 28, has been rescheduled Thursday for Jan. 9.
