Meridian gets federal grant to fight addiction

Meridian Health Services announced they’ve received a large grant to expand its addiction treatment services. It’s from the U.S. Health and Human Services department, and will allow Meridian to use medications to treat patients addicted to drugs. Overall, four Indiana health centers received a total of $1.5 million dollars in federal funds. The programs are focused in low-income areas, according to AP.
