Former New Castle Cop Convicted Of Battering Arrestees

A former New Castle police officer convicted of battering arrestees was sentenced Tuesday to more than 12 years in federal prison. The Star Press reports a U.S. District Court jury on Oct. 4 found 47 year old Aaron Jason Strong guilty of three counts of deprivation of rights under color of law and one count of witness tampering for abusing three arrestees.
