Hartford City Man Gets Ten Years Behind Bars For Attempted Voluntary Manslaughter

A Hartford City man charged with trying to kill his wife has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. According to the Star Press, 45 year old Kevin E. Kearney pleaded guilty to attempted voluntary manslaughter. In July of 2022, authorities say they reported seeing a man later identified as Kearney holding a gun to a woman’s chest and pretending to fire the weapon.
