A proposed hazard pay measure for county employees has been rescinded by the Madison County Board of County Commissioners. The Herald Bulletin reports last month, a resolution was passed to provide all full-time county employees with a $2,000 bonus and part-time employees a $500 bonus for working during the coronavirus pandemic. The ordinance will have to be passed a second time on Jan. 19.
