Teen Charged As Adult In June Shooting Incident

Adult charges are facing a Muncie boy who just turned 17 last month in connection with a shooting incident on the south side in June. Police say Gavin Allen Ford fired at least two gunshots — while trying to shoot another person — in the Dollar General store at 1308 S. Madison St. Ford also escaped from the Youth Opportunity Center on June 22.
