BREAKING: Trump announces emergency authorization for new COVID-19 treatment

President Donald Trump on Sunday announced that the FDA was issuing an emergency authorization for convalescent plasma as a treatment for COVID-19.

Tens of thousands of coronavirus patients have been treated using plasma in recent months as part of an expanded access program.
