MPD begins training

The new Muncie Police chiefs have been in the process of developing new and improved methods for training. This training is certified through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and requires “primary instructors” to teach and lead the officers. Small group training, sensitivity training, and new procedures are now in the works. The new training and procedures will be ongoing.
