Police say it appears a referee was smoking some pot before he was to officiate a basketball game at Northside Middle School. 57 year old Michael Eugene Schoeff was arrested after a police officer working security at the game smelled the odor of marijuana coming from him. When confronted, Schoeff admitted he had taken a hit from a pot pipe shortly before. Police came to take him away.
