Yorktown Purchases Two Properties In Project Area

The Yorktown Town Council has purchased two downtown properties as it looks to redevelop the area. The properties are at 2102 South Market Street, which was bought for just under $80,000, and at 2104 South Vine, purchased for nearly $70,000. The properties are in the project area that includes a mix of private development, a park and pedestrian bridge.
