Fate Of Alexandria Building Up In The Air
The fate of a historic Alexandria building remains up in the air. The vacant brick structure at 102 North Harrison Street started to collapse nearly two weeks ago as the owners work to determine how the demolition will be paid. The owners say the insurance company is balking at the claim to raze the building. Mayor Ron Richardson says the city does not have the money to pay for the demolition and will not pay.
