Delaware County Finalizes 2019 Budget

Delaware County’s 2019 budget has been finalized. The County Council has approved a $30 million general fund budget, including a $4 million highway budget and a $2.5 million budget in revenue from a countywide public safety tax. The council cut $3 million in budget requests before arriving at the final numbers which includes a $1,000 pay raise for most county employees.
