New School Building Rumors Are Just That

You may have heard the rumors that that they’re going to rebuild Frankton Jr.-Sr. High School. While the board has not approved any new buildings at this time, there have been discussions about what should happen after the district pays off its construction loans for Frankton Elementary School in 2023 and Lapel Jr.-Sr. High School in 2025. Superintendent Bobby Fields says any speculation about the current building’s fate is premature.
