Anderson Residents To Find Alternative Travel Route

The Interstate 69 overpass at Columbus Avenue is closing this month while crews build a third travel lane on the interstate. Motorists traveling Columbus Avenue south of 53rd Street in Anderson are advised to use 60th Street, Scatterfield Road and 67th Street as alternate routes. They’re adding a travel lane in each direction from just north of the Pendleton exit to north of Exit 226 in Anderson.
