Couple Sues Over Wind-Energy Ordinance

A Miami County couple has filed a suit against the county commissioners over the constitutionality of the county’s wind-energy ordinance. Charles and Donna Smith allege the ordinance violates the U.S. and Indiana constitutions by restricting land rights. The county judges recused themselves from the case and a special judge has been appointed to hear the case that begins in July.
