Chesterfield Granted Emergency Funding

The town of Chesterfield has received approval on an emergency funding request for testing at the wastewater treatment plant. The Madison County Council of Governments Policy Board has approved the request for $7,500 as matching funds for a $30,000 grant. It’s just testing at this point. Any upgrades to the wastewater treatment plant would be paid for through Indiana Rural Development.
