Muncie Man Wants New Trial

A Muncie man serving a 56-year prison term for his role in the abuse and death of a 5-year-old girl is again seeking a new trial. The Star Press reports that 57-year-old Marcus Marcellus Tabb was found guilty of seven charges – including neglect of a dependent resulting in death– in the 2014 passing of Marie Pierre. Tabb has filed a petition in which he claims he received inadequate representation from his attorneys at trial and in the appeal of his convictions.
