Convenience Store Plans Draw Opposition

Plans to replace a longtime Muncie restaurant with a convenience store have drawn opposition from the eatery’s patrons. Bruner’s Family Restaurant opened in 1986 at 2200 W. Kilgore Ave. The Star Press reports the prospective buyers — Brightwork Real Estate of Tampa, Florida — intend to demolish the restaurant and build a Wawa convenience store.
