Sand Bags Available Ahead Of Expected Rains, Flooding

With a flood watch in effect through Sunday morning, Delaware County has established two sandbag stations, at the county fairgrounds, 1210 Wheeling Ave., and the Delaware County Highway Department, 7700 E. Jackson St. The Star Press reports according to Delaware County Emergency Management, “excessive runoff” may result in flooding of rivers, streams and creeks, and “other low-lying and flood-prone locations.”
