Muncie Did Not Try For Grant: Here’s Why
Muncie mayor Dan Ridenour explained the rationale for declining to use the state’s Community Crossings grant for road improvement this year

As a result, Ridenour said Muncie will receive up to $5.3 million of paving for its $1.5 million investment. He added it’s likely the city will also choose federal funding for projects over the next two years.
