Convenience Store Plans Near Central High School Raising Concerns With Some

Plans to open a convenience store and gas station near Central High School have drawn criticism, some of it from prospective neighbors. The Star Press reports the concerns center around the former site of Concannon’s Pastry Shop at 620 N. Walnut St. Some have concerns about the potential of tobacco and alcoholic beverages being sold at the store, as well as traffic and pedestrian traffic in the area.
