A Portland man who killed his father is again pursuing a new trial. The Star Press reports 52 year old
Jeremy W. Kelly pleaded guilty last year to voluntary manslaughter. He later received a 30-year sentence from Judge Brian Hutchison. His victim, 71-year-old Gary W. Kelly, was found beaten to death in his Portland home on Feb. 25, 2022.
