Emergency responders in Madison County say at least one person is dead followiong a plane crash Friday morning in the 4300 block of East Madison County Road 100 South. The crash took place in a cornfield southeast of the Anderson Municipal Airport, which is located just west of Chesterfield on Anderson’s east side shortly before it was expected to land at the airport.
