Today is World Parkinson’s Day in Muncie

Today, by proclamation of the Mayor is World Parkinson’s Day in Muncie, partly in honor of the work of Riverside Baptist Church in town.  This is also Parkinson’s Awareness Month.


He seems to think it’s a waste of time…

A software update apparently could not be stopped, making the cameras inoperable.  State law mandates public meetings like this to be live streamed – but the law doesn’t take effect until late July.

Don Finnegan promoted the upcoming Run for the Fallen. The event spans 140 miles over May 10th through 12th from Fort Wayne to Indianapolis, with a stop to recite the names of fallen Hoosier Soldiers. 540 names will be shared overall. Chinese surgeons came to the rescue after a man accidentally swallowed a pair of small fingernail scissors he was using to clean his teeth. As he tried to cough it up, the points, which were facing upwards, dug deeper into his throat, causing serious damage.
