31 year old Eloisa Harris is charged with domestic battery with injury, neglect of a dependent resulting in bodily injury and drug counts. Elwood police were called to a home with the Department of Child Services to investigate a “possible child offense.” An 11-year-old boy said he came home from school and he “got in trouble for eating the cereal.” He said Harris, his stepmother, hit him with a belt.
