Anderson Mayor Tom Broderick reminds the public to prepare early for the upcoming total solar eclipse April 8th. A solar eclipse event will be held at the Anderson Municipal Airport from 11 am to 5pm. The mayor wants to make sure families understand the importance of proper eyewear when viewing. The visitor’s bureau will make glasses available, while they last.
