Stalled Contract Talks Could Result In Health Coverage Crisis For Many

On March 18, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield customers might lose insurance access from the Reid Health network of medical providers. The Star Press reports Reid Health and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield have failed to come to an agreement for the past few months. Reid Health says closed to 45,000 customers could be affected. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield says the contract termination will affect members in individual, employer-sponsored, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans.
