Madison County Gov’t Internet Rules

A ban on using the social media app TikTok and the Temu purchasing app on any device connected to the Madison County Government network is being added to IT policy. Tuesday, the county’s IT Director Lisa Cannon explained to the County Commissioners that those platforms are proven security risks. Cannon also requested clearance to restrict the use of AI and Chat GPT platforms. The Commissioners voted to support those policy additions.
