A Delaware County man who shot his neighbor to death was sentenced Monday to 70 years in prison. 30 year old Cy Erik Alley was found guilty of murder in the August 2022 slaying of rural Albany resident Gerald Lee Copley. The Star Press reports a judge imposed a 60-year sentence for the murder conviction, and added 10 years to Alley’s prison term for using a firearm to commit the crime.
