New Castle Man Charged With Impersonating Public Servant

A New Castle man found with red and blue emergency lights in his personal vehicle has been charged with impersonation of a public servant. 54 year old David O. Imel II was arrested after a July incident in which a Henry County sheriff’s deputy reported observing a Chevrolet Spark traveling on Indiana Avenue with “activated red and blue emergency lights.” The car also had a large sign displayed that read, ‘Fugitive Recovery.’
